7 things I'd want my younger self to know

  1. If you make mistakes, you’re not a bad person. It’s human to make mistakes and that’s the only way you’ll ever learn

  2. Nothing really lasts forever - If something isn’t going too well right now, it’s OKAY. The bad times shall pass and you will get over it. It’s like a mountain - where there’s downhill, there’s an uphill soon. So look at something bad as just another cloud you need to pass in order to see the rainbow.

  3. Never suppress your emotions. They’ll keep piling up and one day, it could burst. say what you feel when you feel it. it’s okay to have emotions and feelings - that makes you, YOU.

  4. People come into your life to teach you things - as much as they may hurt you or as unfair as it may be there’s always something to learn from that situation.

  5. Expressing gratitude is really magical - it’s fascinating how you can create the life you want by simply accepting and being grateful for what you have.

  6. Self-love will take you a long way. By loving yourself, you’re not only accepting yourself for who you are but also embracing and showing affection to yourself.

  7. Live in the moment. By planning and stressing about moments in the future, you’re wasting away your present. So as hard as it may be, live in the now. Seize every moment and opportunity that life throws at you because life will be over before you even know it.
